Through the Startup Weekend Fellowship, members of the Startup Weekend Community who want to start a technology company can apply to the Silicon Valley Founder Institute chapter for free, and the best overall applicant will be invited to participate in the Founder Institute's step-by-step startup launch program for free as well.



Eligibility: In order to be eligible for the Startup Weekend Fellowship for the upcoming semester, you must complete your application and admissions test by Sunday, December 11th, 2016, using this link.

New Toronto FI Graduates to Receive $5,000 Equity-Free Grant from City of Toronto

The Founder Institute, the world’s premier idea-stage startup accelerator, has announced that Graduates of its Toronto 2017 program will have the opportunity to qualify for a $5,000 equity-free grant to help build their startup. This offer is the result of a partnership with the Province of Ontario and City of Toronto, as part of their Starter Company Plus Program. Any aspiring or early-stage entrepreneur that graduates from the program, which begins in May 2017, will be eligible to receive the grant. Interested applicants can apply by the Final Deadline on Sunday, May 7th at http://fi.co/apply/toronto.
